My Devotion Today

"For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." I Timothy 2:5
Aren't you thankful there is a way to get to God? How holy and powerful is the God of the universe. How unworthy we are as sinful mankind to approach God. But how great the love of God to make a bridge for us to cross over the distance from us to Him. That way is Jesus Christ.
The cross bridged the distance from earth to heaven. The blood of Christ made the atonement. Jesus Christ is the only way we can come to God and be acceptable to Him. Notice there is only one way - not doing good, not being holy, not anything but simply trusting Jesus as our substitute; our sacrifice. Let us call on our Mediator today. He will provide all our needs.
One way to God and only one:
Jesus the Savior, God's only Son.
His cross became the bridge for me.
May I point souls to Calvary.
