"Open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it." Psalm 81:106
Do you want to be a witness for Christ? Do you want to be a blessing or help to someone? The Lord wants you to glorify Him in your life. He would have you come to Him and ask for His help like a young bird opens its mouth wide for its mother to fill it. We are helpless to know what others need in the way of encouragement, admonition, advice or Christian conversation.
Only the Spirit of the Lord can cause us to utter the words that are needed in our day to day walk in this life. The Lord knows the hearts of others and also knows their needs. Their actions or even their words might hide their real needs, but the Lord can inspire us to say just what is needed in each circumstance.
Admit your helplessness to say the right words and trust in the Lord to fill you with His words to bless others.
Words can hurt and words can heal;
Savior this my mouth please fill
With words to help and comfort give
So other souls with You may live.
