My Devotion Today

"Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory." Psalm 73:24
When we give our heart to Jesus, we ask Him to take charge of our lives and guide us to do His will. We can be sure that His Word will speak to our hearts and give us the counsel we need to do His will.
Be sure to read a portion of His Word each day to receive His guidance. The Lord has promised to guide us continually if we are truly committed to Him. We don't have to accept and live by the counsel of the ungodly. His word gives us true counsel. It is our sure guide. As we walk with the Lord, He will work in our lives to make us like Jesus. When He sees fit one day, He will come back and receive us to live with Him in glory for evermore.
Faithful guide is Christ to me-
He is mine eternally.
I can trust the narrow path,
For it leads to home at last.
