"...God liveth..." Job 27:2
Life is worth living because the Lord lives. Today may be bright and sunny: an exciting event might be forthcoming. Or today may be sad and unhappy. The bottom could seem to drop out of all that matters to you. It may seem like everyone has turned his back on you. Isn't it wonderful to know that God liveth?
The everyday duties of life sometimes get tiresome. It is crushing when your best friend doesn't understand you. It is sad when a loved one or friend passes away. Through all of this, isn't it great to know that God liveth!
Maybe today you have had wonderful answers to prayer. The cup of your blessings may be overflowing. The Lord has done a wonderful spiritual work in your heart. Out of the depths of your spirit you can praise Him who liveth. God liveth! All is well!
God liveth! Praise His name!
His mercy is e'er the same.
Sunny or dreary my way,
I know Jesus lives today.
