"He that winneth souls is wise." Proverbs ll:30
Most of us want to be considered wise. It is good to remember that the Lord has a standard of what is wise, and if we wish to be considered wise in His sight, we must be soul winners.
Most people of higher learning would measure wisdom by success in the business world. To be learned in science and the arts, to be an eloquent speaker, to be able to sway a crowd with political speeches - these are some of the ways men rate wisdom. But God says that to win souls is to be wise.
Maybe you don't have the natural ability to counsel with a sinner like a minister would. But just living a Christlike example is a witness within itself. Our attitudes and disposition toward others can also win souls to our Savior. Just allow the Holy Spirit to control your life so that you will be a soul winner for Jesus and it will be the natural fruit that flows from your heart of love.
Wisdom, Master, comes from Thee.
