My Devotion Today

"For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's." I Corinthians 6:20
The price that was paid for our salvation was the blood of Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son. That was a tremendous price. Since our Lord Jesus Christ did pay for our salvation with His own precious blood, then we need to glorify Him in our body and spirit.
There are many things we can do in our physical bodies for the Lord: we can say things for Him, we can go places for Him, we can do deeds of kindness and love. We must yield our hands, our feet, our tongue, our mind and all of our body to glorify God.
Our spirit and will must be given to the Lord too. He must be first in our lives. We must remember to worship the Lord and praise Him for all His benefits. As Christians, we belong to God. Let us do His will day by day.
Oh what a price for me was paid
When Jesus' blood for me He gave.
Lord, in my body and spirit too
I want to glorify only You.
