"The Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts."
I Chronicles 28:9
The Lord knows the thoughts we think, even before we think them. He searches our hearts to see how we feel toward Him and toward other people. Isn't it wonderful to be serving a God that knows all about our future?
He even understands all that our hearts imagine. He knows and cares about everything that happens to His children. He knows our motives for saying and doing the things we do.
We need our hearts and thoughts right in His sight so that we can do His will. In doing this, we will be pleasing in His sight. He will search our hearts for love to Him and also to cleanse any dross or wrong motive that would hinder our Christian testimony. Today, when He searches our hearts, let us rejoice and stay close to Jesus.
My thoughts are like an open book;
The Lord does on the pages look.
May my thoughts and heart ring so true
Others will know I've been with You.
