"...He was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him." Daniel 6:4c
This statement was made about Daniel who was faithful to God in all circumstances. His Christianity was without error and fault. Even when people were plotting against him, they could accuse him only of opening his window and praying toward Jerusalem three times a day.
The Jews were supposed to pray in this manner because God had especially manifested His presence in the temple. Daniel faithfully did what the Lord had instructed him to do. Oh that people might see in you and me that kind of Christlikeness.
Whatever our circumstances, may we be faithful to the Lord and base our actions on what "thus saith the Lord." His word is a never-failing guide to help us know the right decisions to make. Let us keep our faith in Christ and live by His word so that others will be drawn to our wonderful Savior.
Faithful like the saints of old
May my story also be told.
