My Devotion Today

"...It shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before Him." Ecclesiastes 8:12c
Because Jesus came to earth as a little boy and grew up to be our Savior, all is well. We who have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord have the fear of God in our hearts and lives. It shall be well with us in life and forevermore.
Let us quickly remember, though, that this verse does not mean we will have no trying days. It does not mean that everything will always go our way. It does mean that when we have given our all to Jesus Christ and are striving to do His will, He is working all things together for our good.
It shall be well with us because we fear God. Our lives are being planned by Him so that every trial and test works out in a triumphant victory to the glory of God. The Lord has committed Himself to keep us. It shall be well. It is well!
It shall be well, oh praise His name!
What comfort to know that Jesus came.
May I always bow in fear before Him -
Our beginning of life and brightest gem.
