"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee. Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength." Isaiah 26:3,4
No matter how much is going on in our lives, the peace of God keeps our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. "Beneath the toil and care of life this hidden stream flows on/ There's a deep settled peace in my soul."
Since our trust is in the Lord, we have everlasting strength. He is Jehovah. We are His children. All is well. He said: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you." It is His peace that He gives to us that keeps our hearts and minds stayed on Him. When our minds really focus on Jesus, we know that He is our Savior, that He won the victory on Calvary over anything and everything that could ever touch our lives. Since our trust is in Him, there is no need to fret or be anxious. All, all is well!
Perfect peace to me He gave
When my soul did Jesus save.
I will trust in Him alway;
In His strength, I'll face each day.
