Jesus is our very best Friend. You may not feel that you have a friend on this earth at times. It might seem that everyone has a friend except you. But just remember that Jesus wants to be your friend. He is a friend that sticks close by us at all times. He is closer than a brother or any relative or earthly friend.
It is good sometimes to have an earthly friend to talk to and the Lord understands that. He will provide an earthly friend when we need one. The wonderful thing about talking over our problems with Jesus is that He can do what is necessary to solve our problems. He will not tell anyone our secrets or disappoint us as earthly friends sometimes do.
No matter how many or how few friends you have, always know that Jesus is your very best friend.
I have a Friend, oh such a Friend,
Who'll be my guide to journey's end.
He's always closer than a brother
And more precious than a Mother.
