"Nevertheless I am continually with Thee: Thou hast holden me by my right hand." Psalm 73:23
The Lord assures us that He is with us always. Our hearts gladly respond to Him because He has held us by our right hand. There is no way we can keep ourselves in the path which the Lord would have us go. We have the desire to be in His perfect will and we try to do the best we know how, but it is only as the Spirit of the Lord lives in us and causes us to triumph through Jesus Christ our Lord that we can be kept in truth.
We need to be held up by the right of the Lord. He is strong enough to hold us up in our goings on His paths so that our footsteps slip not. The presence of the Lord with us is reassuring and comforting. Our God is a faithful God.
The Lord is continually here-
What then can I possibly fear?
My right hand He holds every day;
Oh keep me in Thy holy pathway.
