"...He prepared his ways before the Lord his God." II Chronicles 27:6b
We all need to prepare our ways before the Lord our God. This includes an early morning quiet time when we talk to God through prayer. It also includes in this quiet time a session when the Lord talks to us through His Word. It includes a total commitment of our souls and bodies to the Lord's will and a habitual looking to Him for guidance, as each new situation arises.
Sometimes in life we will come to the full realization that we are totally dependent on God for everything. When we come to this truth, we will be careful to prepare our ways before the Lord. We will know that we can't make it on our own. We need His constant care and leadership. Let us evermore prepare our ways before the Lord.
My ways before Him are all prepared
So I am never by satan snared-
Through His Word, God leads the way-
True to Him, I'll never stray.
