"O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man pleadeth for his neighbor." Job 16:21
To pray for someone else is a real privilege in the Lord. Who knows but what our pleading with God will make the difference for their salvation, for their protection or for whatever their need may be?
When the Lord brings someone to your mind, breathe a prayer for that person. When the Lord burdens your heart with someone, a loved one maybe or a friend or perhaps just an acquaintance, plead with God for that person. Plead the blood of Christ as the covering for that person's needs. It could make the difference in time and eternity for them.
May the Lord help us to see the importance of intercessory prayer. Pray for others.
Help me to plead for souls with Thee
As I want them to plead for me.
My neighbors may be the one in need;
Bless them, dear Lord; O bless indeed!
