"...There shall be showers of blessing." Ezekiel 34:26c
How refreshing it is to have a rain shower on a hot day. Even more refreshing is a shower of God's blessing in our hearts and lives. The most important shower is a spiritual shower. Then there will be times when we need help physically with a shower of God's help or a mental shower of wisdom. There are other times when we need financial provision or some other material shower.
Whatever you and I need today, God has promised there shall be showers of blessing. Isn't it wonderful to leave the government of our lives upon the shoulder of Jesus Christ so that He can supply the particular shower of blessing that we need. The same Lord who promised this will fulfill our needs. This will be true tomorrow and for evermore. God is faithful to His word.
There shall be showers of blessing:
They shall supply a refreshing!
Lord, keep me wise and free
So that I will glorify Thee.
