My Devotion Today

"I will praise Thee: for Thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation." Psalm 118:21
Praise is something we all can offer. We can praise God because He hears and answers our prayers. We can praise Him for Who He is and we can worship Him through our praise.
God Who made the world and all things hears us who were formed from the dust - such knowledge is wonderful; it is overwhelming to know that He cares. He became our Salvation, our Saviour, when He died on the cross in our place.
Nothing we could ever do makes us deserve salvation. Nothing we can ever bring to Him will merit His favor. He loved us and gave Himself for us and we only have to believe in Jesus as Saviour and Lord to receive this free gift.
He cares about you and me. That makes us want to praise Him. That makes life worthwhile. It makes us desire the Lord Jesus to live in us so that our lives will be lives of praise and honor to our Lord.
Dear Lord, for this and each new day
In all I do and all I say,
Let praise be first within my heart;
Then I'll be fit the day to start.
