"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1
To be in Christ Jesus means that you have asked Him to save you by His blood and that you have committed your life into His care and keeping - you have identified yourself with Jesus on the cross and want only His will to be done in your life. When this is true, His Spirit guides your daily walk and you will go and do what Jesus wants instead of what you want. Your fleshly will has been broken by Him and now you walk as His Spirit leads.
The condeming power of unconfessed sin is no longer tearing at your heart. You are free in Christ Jesus. What peace and joy this brings to our hearts! It is a peace that passes all understanding. It is the peace of God that keeps our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
My soul is free at last-
No more in chains I am.
My all on Christ I've cast:
God's sacrificial Lamb.
