"Hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance." Psalm 42:5
When things go wrong and you don't seem to have a friend, you can still hope in God. He is The true Friend Who will work in your life to make things better. Today may be bright and happy. Your plans are going great, then something happens to change all of that. You might feel like this is the most terrible thing that has ever happened in your life. It might be something that will change your life completely from the way it has been.
Just remember that you can hope in God. Things won't always be bleak. A brighter day will come. You will be able to smile again. Hope in the Lord. He knows how to bring us through deep valleys and how to make things bright again. He will help you today. Hope in God and you will be able to praise Him for His help.
My hope is in the Lord;
No other hope I know.
I'll praise Him for His word;
His face once more He'll show.
