My Devotion Today

"The king of Israel, even the Lord, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil anymore." Zephaniah 3:15
Isn't it wonderful to have the King of Kings and Lord of Lords in the midst of us? Since He is in control of our lives, we don't have to worry about evil because He protects us from it. He is ever working all things together for our good.
Isn't it great to love the Lord Jesus Christ and remember that we are called according to His purpose for our lives. As the branches depend on the vine for life and fruit, so we are depending on the Lord for our spiritual life and fruit.
Because the Lord is our shepherd we shall not want for anything. He allows the rain to come into our lives as well as the sunshine. May we always know that when He does, He is still in the midst of us.
He is still in control - working for our good. He is our life, our sustenance, our King. Let us rejoice today in Jesus our Savior.
Whatever good may come my way-
Whatever evil others say,
The Lord sits King on my heart's throne.
My goal: to hear Him say "Well done."
