"I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." Revelation 21:6
God has always existed and always will exist. He is the great "I Am." He was there at the beginning of time - the Alpha. He will be there at the ending of time - the Omega. We don't have to understand this - just accept it because He said so - and believe Him.
Only God can satisfy the soul who is hungering and thirsting after righteousness. But since Jesus shed His blood for our sins, He will freely give the water of life to every thirsty soul who comes to Him. That fountain will never run dry.
He will freely give the bread of life to all who are hungry. He said "I am the water of life" and "I am the bread of life." Come to Jesus today with your every need. He will quench your thirst and satisfy your every need.
When I am thirsty, He cares;
Water so freely He shares.
From start to finish, it's Christ.
Through Him I have eternal life.
