"The hope of the righteous shall be gladness." Proverbs 10:28
As Christians, we have no righteousness of our own. Jesus is our righteousness and since He is, our hope is in Him. We will be glad of the way He guides our lives and supplies our needs.
The Bible speaks of the blessed hope of the appearing of Jesus Christ when He comes back to catch away His bride to be with Him for ever. Jesus already won the victory on the cross of Calvary, and He came alive the third day to show the world that He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Our hope is a bright hope. Whatever your heartache at this time, just remember that if your trust is in Jesus, you have gladness ahead. Your way will get better - you have hope. We know how things will turn out in the end. All is well and all will be well.
I hope for a bright tomorrow;
My heart will be glad today.
Clouds up ahead I'll not borrow;
My Savior will clear the way.
