My Devotion Today

"Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." II Timothy 2:15
The word of God has so many deep truths that we must study it. We should want to tell others about God's word in the right way. You might have the privilege of teaching a Sunday school class one day. You will want to be careful to teach it the way God wants you to teach.
His word tells us that Jesus came to save; it also tells us that He is coming again. In fact, when things around us cause problems in our lives, we are to look up, for our redemption draweth nigh.
The Holy Spirit must teach us the word of God in order for us to be able to teach others in the correct way. Prayerfully study God's word that His Spirit may teach you today and you, in turn, may rightly divide His Word to others.
I must study God's dear Word;
There are those who have not heard.
Truth to them I'll always show:
That's the only way to go.
