My Devotion Today

"Wherefore beloved, seeing that ye look for such things; be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot and blameless." II Peter 3:14
We are looking for Jesus to come; we are looking for a better world that will be governed by Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We need to be faithful to Jesus so that when He comes we will be without a spot of any wrong that could be blamed on us. Only Jesus in us can accomplish this.
Today, reckon on God that you are kept by the power of God and just continue to do His will day by day.
When we turn our eyes upon Jesus and remember that He promised to prepare a place for us so that we will be forever with Him, the hardships of life will not overwhelm us. Our stay here on earth is but for a little while but our stay with the Lord is forever. May we keep eternal values in view and be diligent for Jesus' sake.
I want to be faithful today
Without spot and blameless alway.
May God's peace abide in my heart;
From Jesus I'll never depart.
