"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation." Isaiah 12:1,2
When we think of the fact that God is our salvation, then all is well. There is nothing to be afraid of when we put our trust in God. Jesus died to become our salvation, but it is when each of us realizes in a personal way that Jesus is our personal salvation that we have the peace in our soul that keeps our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
There is nothing that can come our way to defeat us when we have Christ in our hearts. We might humanly become disappointed at times, but when we remember that Jehovah means the Almighty God - the great "I Am"- then we rest in Him.
God's strength is made perfect through weakness so we look to Him as our sufficiency, our help, our all in all. Today, think of God Himself caring enough for you to be your Savior. He surely does care, so don't be afraid - trust Him completely.
Jehovah is my strength and song;
He is my Lord and makes me strong.
My Savior He became one day.
I'll trust in Him and live for aye.
