My Devotion Today

"Rejoice ever more. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." I Thessalonians 5:16-18
The Bible tells us many definite things that are God's will for us. Praising God and giving thanks are two things we must do. Praying about all that concerns us is also important. We should always be ready to call upon the Lord. The joy of the Lord should and must radiate from our lives to other people.
Sometimes we wonder what the Lord's will is for us. We have to pray and study God's word to find the answer. But this verse tells us plainly what the will of God is after we have accepted Christ Jesus as our Savior. We are to rejoice evermore. We are to be always in an attitude of prayer - uttering our praise and needs to the Lord all through the day. We are to thank the Lord for all He allows in our lives, both good and bad. Jesus is our Savior and He cares for us. All is well!
I will rejoice in each new day;
Without ceasing I will pray.
I will give thanks, come what may.
For me God's will is the only way.
