"...That the word of the Lord...might be fulfilled..." Ezra 1:1
Sometimes things happen to us that we don't understand. It could be that the very difficulty is causing the Word of the Lord to be fulfilled. Remember Jesus was taken into Egypt when He was a baby that the word of the Lord might be fulfilled. The holy scriptures are God's messages to us - already settled in heaven long before we experience our problems. God already knows about the things that are happening to us right now and knew about them even before they happened.
The Lord knows the end from the beginning. We have seen and are seeing God's word being fulfilled every day. All of it will come to pass; all will be fulfilled.
Take courage in the hard tasks that you are having to do just now in life. The Lord will never leave us nor forsake us. May He keep us true to His word now and forever.
Don't fret when trials come your way:
God has a plan for each new day.
His word will be fulfilled in life;
Let's trust Him through the storms and strife.
