"Thus saith the Lord; stand...and speak...all the words that I command thee..." Jeremiah 26:2
Jeremiah, God's servant, was told by the Lord to stand and speak to the people all the words of the Lord that He commanded to be spoken. This Jeremiah did faithfully. We can also speak God's Word to people as He leads us to and as He empowers us with His Holy Spirit each day.
Through unusual circumstances, you might find yourself in a place you really would rather not be because you don't think you have time to be there. But lo and behold, there is a person with a need that you can witness to about the Lord.
What a heaven sent opportunity for you to stand and speak God's word to that person. Who knows but what the encouragement you give will be the means of that soul being saved or drawn closer to the Lord in full surrender. Let us be faithful each day in sharing God's word.
