"And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Matthew 21:22
Whatever we ask the Lord to do for us, when we have put our faith in Jesus and are trusting Him as our Savior, He will do for us. We will receive the things we ask for. We might have to wait but the Lord will do as He says.
When we are totally dedicated to the Lord, we will ask for and want only what the Lord wants for us. The Holy Spirit puts the right yearnings in our heart so that we will have the right desires. When the desires of our heart are right and we go to the Lord in prayer, He can trust us to ask for the things He will give us.
Whatever your need today, make sure that it is in agreement with the Word of God and will glorify the Lord when the answer comes. Then pray with confidence and assurance that our Heavenly Father sees in secret and will reward us openly.
Whatever I ask in humble prayer
Believing that God will always hear,
I will receive them all in time
If my will is lost in Thine.
