"Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him." Proverbs 30:5
God's Word is pure - every word. All His promises are good and true. When we are battered by the cares of life, we can be sure that the Lord has a shield of protection all around us if we have put our trust in Him.
Know today that He cares for the deep hurt you have, the sorrow, the heartache - every care. He will shield and protect you. We need not wonder about which way to take or what to do. We have God's word to give us direction.
When decisions have to be made, we can ask the Lord for directions - all who put their trust in Him are led by His word and His Spirit.
Don't ever worry about what you don't understand in God's Word. Just ask Him to help you live by what you do understand. Go to His Word - He will guide you to the right answer for today's problem. How comforting to know what God says about the situation. Jesus is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.
Every word of God is pure -
I can trust in Him secure.
He's my shield, my hiding place;
Soon I'll see Him face to face.
